Hi guys

Long time observer first time poster.
I had this issue for a while with my house alarm but have only bothered to get around to fixing it now.

The "arm 2" keeps flashing. We can still arm and disarm the house like normal. Partition 2 is not armed either.

I thought it could be related to the battery as trouble 1 was on too.

Finally put a new battery in it and still have the issue with the arm 2.

No audible countdown on entry or exit either.

Any alarm experts that have come across this before?

I've read through the consumer instructions and the installer instructions but have had no luck. Have NOT read the programming manual

help would be appreciated.

It means the alarm has 2 partitions, enabling separate control over 2 areas, and area/partition 2 has had an activation.

Only a code that has access to Area 1 AND Area 2, or one with Area 2 access only will disarm the alarm.

If no codes are known, get hold of the installer, as they will be able to gain access to programming, read back the master code and maybe disarm it that way

If none of this works, then you're going to have to reset it back to factory and re-program it from scratch

Hope this helps......
