We have a trailer with a cage. It came with bolts and nyloc nuts to secure the cage onto the trailer.

Obviously taking the cage off its onerous because of the nyloc nuts.

Has anyone seen any sort of quick release mechanism that could be used instead of a traditional bolt?

Possibly a bolt with a hole for a split pin?

Butterfly nuts are an option. Dont think plit pins would work as the cage would rattle too much.

I was hoping for something like the quick release bolt on bikes but a bit sturdier.

Weld box/round pipe to the bottom of the cage and slightly bigger box section to the trailer and just slide it together.
