Anyone got access to the firmware for the ip150s? I don't like to bother the sparky that installed mine, he always forgets. I'm hoping newer firmware allows for more than one up connection at a time (stupidest limitation ever)

I found the application which does the actual upgrading. It seems to source firmware from the internet as part of its upgrade process.

I haven't managed to get it to upgrade yet however :/

I've used the infield programmer to upgrade the firmware on mine. That software connects to the paradox servers and downloads the latest version for you, unfortunately, there seems to be some limitations on which version is available depending on where you connect from.

If I run the software on a machine which connects via Australia, the latest English version I am offered is 1.34. The firmware file for this is named IP150_V1_34_000_ENG.PUF. From New Zealand, the latest English version offered is only 1.32.

I'm having a few issues connecting to my alarm system remotely as my mobile browser refuses to connect due to unsupported cyphers. I'd really like to get a newer version of the firmware, however, I have not had any luck so far.

There is a comment here about not upgrading to a version greater than 4, however, I have not verified this anywhere else.

Keen to know if anyone else has success at sourcing a newer version.

There were some changes made, and, I remember thinking at the time that that was cool, however, I don't remember what they were sorry.

I can confirm though that multiple concurrent users can not access the web pages. I have not tested if you can access the web page while someone else is connected via the software port (10000). Can do so this evening if you would like.

Yeah that'd be handy.  Someone was writing a python access to the paradox ip150.  but it was using a mix of the web site and the 10000 port.  He was hoping to transfer it all over the to 10000 port.  I want that to be able to access it with openhab.

Well, I can confirm that if you have a connection through port 10000, you can not access via the web site with firmware 1.34.

The error message you receive is

"Software currently connected
Please wait while requesting your connection to the software..."

I did see someone accessing via the serial port header (the same one the ip150 is connected to), therefore, you may have to access via that port for concurrent access.
