We currently have an old 3 bulb pendant light in our living room, with 100W bulbs in it.
I am considering switching to Philips Hue lighting, but with the lower lumen output, I figure I probably need 6 bulbs to achieve the same maximum brightness I currently have.
So the question is, what is a good lighting fixture that I could get? I've had a bit of a look at the likes of Lighting Direct and Lighting Plus etc but can't see much very suitable.
Wanting something modernish looking (but not so modern that in a years time it will look dated), and has to look alright with the Philips Hue bulbs (which are rather distinctive looking).
Our ceiling is probably about 30 cm higher than standard, and light will be above coffee table anyway - so no issue of people hitting their head on any lower hanging options.
