So the reclad on the shed is all done, I will be lining it with ply in the near future.

Looking to insulate it before putting the ply up, was hoping to use the green stuff, but the wall stuff comes pre-cut to inappropriate sizes - basically a 1.2m long 600 wide type thing, I have the nogs at about 750ish on the sides since the cieling comes down to about 2200mmish, so would either be very wastefull or have gaps in it where I use offcuts.

Ideally would like that stuff on a giant roll like they do for roof ones, but are there any other options where I can cut it to the needed height as I put it in?

The brown Earthwool from Bunnings seems pretty good. Certainly I prefer it to Pink Batts and Bradford Gold, though I have relatively limited points of reference. Comes in ceiling rolls. Easy to cut to size with a craft knife and packs pretty well when you're using up your inevitable offcuts. You can't cut the green polyester stuff neatly. I've seen the pros with the right technique tear it to size but it didn't look like something I could manage reliably.

Don't know about sag or anything though.

Would love to, but the shed is full of stuff so will be doing it piece by piece as I work around other things in there, so something where I have to get a guy out to do it wouldnt work out very well unfortunatly.

Isn't it also glasswool? The other option is Polyester, or a wool/polyester blend.

Yeah but its not the pink one which I have had so many issues with when moving it around in the past. The pink ones might be ok if they are new, but I know when I have moved the old roof ones out and back for the builders that they basically disintegrated into a mess.

Seems mitre10 and placemakers only list the pink ones, which leaves bunnings or trying to find somewhere else. If there is a greenstuff roll at 580ish wide, I will get that, otherwise that option seems the best to deal with the spacings without having to deal with offcuts.

The foam that you pump into walls can be damaging. I had it done, nothing really happened, but from memory it can prevent evaporation if moisture gets through the cladding. It also didn't help much, and the holes they drilled to get it in never covered up properly.

Use traditional insulation.

I've had great success cutting polyester insulation with a long scallop edged carving knife. I'm wondering if the perfect tool might actually be an electric carving knife - haven't tried this though as I don't own one.

The "earthwool" blanket is probably okay in walls, but it's a bit floppy and may droop leaving a gap at the top, the thick stuff (R3.6?) is probably thick enough to stay put in 90mm framing, but it's going to be compressed and probably less effective than the "right size" wall insulation.

Presumably Placemakers favour Pink Batts due to Fletchers tie-up. My local Mitre 10 Mega is useless for stock / advice etc on insulation. You can buy Earthwool on line here.

No doubt, but isn't the principle the same? Lack of air space in the cavity could result in moisture issues. I know my weatherboards aren't all 100% sealed, some water will get in, I think you're meant to have gap to help with evaporation.

That's what the barrier paper is for. Problem is it's stupid retrofitting into old construction without it, or where you make more holes in it inorder to get the foam into the wall. The spray on stuff goes on the inside of it so the barrier paper will keep it out enough.

Our data base (carters) shows greenstuff wall as being available in wall up to 560mm wide and each roll does 6.5m3. Another product you could look at is mammoth.We show it available in 580 width. The only problem with these products is they are general not carried as a stock line, so are ordered in when required.
