Wife has been collecting a crap load of pavers for us to use down at the pool area, and wants a pretty design - is there any software out there that makes this easy ? Or am I going to have to resort to something like CAD ? :)

Are they regular or irregular shapes? For regular shapes, measure the area and the paver size and get a rough estimate, then start laying. For irregular, put in the larger ones, which determine what the rough layout will be, then drop in the smaller ones and rearrange to suit, once you've got the layout you want, make it permanent.

Had a Google and found plenty of online tools but all for particular brands of pavers/bricks, but no interlocking type ones.

We have a large number of standard brick type, along with a decent amount of interlocking ones.

Ive resorted to digital pen and paper for now ;) Paint.net ftw.
