Anyone got any options for cleaning windows (lead lights as well which makes them more annoying) on the outside. They're too tall for my ladder, And those extendable brushes don't do a great job and are a bit rough on the lead lights.

I currently use a brush and squeegee on a stick and contort myself under the bottom of the window.

Can you spray window cleaner onto them from inside the house by sticking your hand/bottle out the window? Thats what we do. Then go outside and spray them with a high pressure hose. Works mostly well.

Once a year we just get some professional cleaners in to do a more thorough job.

Should've eaten your greens when you were younger...

A magnetic fish tank cleaner? Basically 2 magnets with a sponge stuck to one of the magnets. Normally used to clean the inside of glass fish tanks without needing to get your hands wet or drain the tank.

Ive got that issue. Too busy to worry right now, but I bought a Karcher K5, I'm looking at the extension. Buy cheap dishwash for the dispenser. Leave 30 mins. And water blast off, on low blast setting. Essentially a high up hose.

The extension is $200 ugh

If it was normal windows I'd be all about that. But something like that wouldn't work with lead lights where each pane has a lead border you wouldn't be able to get the outside magnet over the lead.

No idea how well it works, but I have heard that the applicator isn't very efficient and likely to leak.

Knock the hinge pins out and take the window inside.

I see a middle hinge... That could put a spanner in the works.

Get water bombs, fill with water and detergent, hurl them at the windows. Job done.
