Hi, an electrician (sky installer!) pointed out that my kmart multiplug board thingy is badly made with very short contact points. He advised better ones. Thing is, I don't want to pay $100 for the monster ones.

So which multiplug boards and dual adapters do people buy that are of good quality?

Cheers

HPM are my choice for "plain" powerboards

I get HPM at bunnings. They seem to have pulled most of their switched ones, probably related to that NSW ban on anything that plugs in with only single pole switching pushing the costs of individual switches up.

Cheap ones work if you never unplug and plug things, one day they will make a crunch when you plug something in and they go all loose and will arc etc.

Hi thanks all. Looks like a very basic looking unit is what I'm after, and I'm very relieved! K Mart and Bunnings - look the same to me, but apparently not!

Thanks HPM it is
