So, my security camera captured an unknown service engineer (gas or electrical), who was doing some work outside my house where the meters are.

He was there from 12:33 to 12:48. The strange thing was my energy company has no record of anybody visiting my property at that date and time.

I directly called the Wellington Electricity and they have also confirmed nobody was sent out. But I'm not sure who to call for gas in the Wellington area. All information just points back to "contacting your energy supplier".  

From looking at the guy's equipment I think it gas related. I was concerned that he was scoping out my property. It's quite possible he was there for a real reason but you would think that the energy company would know about it.

I know it's not the meter reader man because he has the words "Wellls" printer on his back.
