Looking for a reasonable priced, yet of reasonable quality outdoor umbrella or pop up gazebo.
Essentially we’ve had crap luck with cheapish (ie under $100) umbrellas, with them breaking or (if wooden) wobbling around the middle of the pole where it screws together.
We do the usual put it away in a wind etc but they tend to fall to bits after a year or two.

We don’t want to spend heaps, ie $5,6,700 is a bit of a stretch.
Does anybody have any experience ( ie recently purchased) a good quality umbrella or gazebo?
A Blackhawk from Blackhawk.co.nz or a toughout model from treasurebox.co.nz seem to come up a fair bit when we use the googles, but not so much with user reviews.

I know you mentioned 'reasonable priced', but we purchased one of these cantilever umbrellas about two years ago and it still a good looking as the day it was installed, so we would consider them to be 'reasonably priced'

Thanks, ‘tis a wee bit outta the budget range though e.
Managed to get an umbrella on spesh at HN, seems more robust than others with an outer cover over where the two parts of the pole screw together to stop it wobbling at the join as so many umbrellas seem to do. Here’s hoping it does the trick.

Which one did you go with? Was also interested in the shade7 umbrellas but once I factored in the cost for the umbrella, base, shipping to Chch its getting close to $1k.

We've got a Devon wood one that has done 10 Wairarapa summers and is outside all winter as well - still going fine.

Can't recall the cost though - but it seems to me to be good VFM if it is still working fine a decade after purchase.
