I got a bunch of the Xiaomi zigbee devices (which work very well) and I've imported them into Openhab, but going to need a few pointers on how to make a nice front end interface for them, anyone here running OpenHAB and willing to have some ideas and questions bounced off them ?

Thanks!

You mean in habpanel? I’ve only played a little in that and didn’t get great results.

ive switched to node-red for all my rules  etc.  most devices have node-red plugins, xiaomi do.

if they dont i still use home-assistant or openhab to operate them, and use that plugin in node-red to control them.

I know you didnt ask about node-red, but if you havent checked it out i really encourage you to do so.  so much easier than any other home automation project ive ever seen.  makes every a drag/drop.  my complicated hundreds of lines of code for rules in openhab translate to a few "nodes" connected together in node-red.
