I'm reaching out for some help understanding if I'm dealing with good company.

Situation cold called for insulation, we needed some underfloor insulation so signed up on the night with Comfortmaster.

A week later received a call from Canterbury Sustainability Trust basically they were block calling areas covered by Comfortmaster saying these guys were dodgy and came up with better pricing for the same work. He also emailed me with some articles on Comfortmaster from various news papers and Facebook and a letter re using improperly using the symbol of a national organization.

A couple of days later while thinking about this, Comfortmaster called again re arranging an install date, I explained the above conversation and was directed to the head of the company who basically said they are a family company that is getting bad mouthed and there definitely seamed like there was history between them as this Trust rep had worked for them and setup their Facebook their brochures and inferring he had caused some of the issues above, and he found inaccuracies in my original quote so even cheaper than the second offering.

Bottom line price not the issue quality of end product is, I'm open minded but I would like some help here from previous experiences from Geekzone users, plus any recommendations.
