Our neighbour friend has asked me to ‘have a look’ at her outside security lights. She has three LED lamps in different places near her garage with all three being controlled by a fairly standard-looking separate timer/sensor unit.

Two of the lights are noticeably flickering but the third light isn’t. Are LEDs like old incandescent bulbs which sometimes flickered when they were about to fail? Any other comments or suggestions on why they might be flickering? Maybe the sensor is faulty?
