We unplugged one phone jack in our house and we’ve been gib stopping a wall. This phone jack has never worked when we have plugged in our phone and we have a broadband splitter. We have another phone jack in the house we use for the phone line. Since it’s been unplugged we now have no phone and our phone says check line. It looks like they have only used the black wires, to possibly just complete the circuit. Now we can’t put it back together. Any advice on what wires go where?
