as above.

house has dimmable leds installed to single gang faceplates, i dont want to alter the faceplates so i want a wifi inwall dimmer that can also allow use of physical switch to be used.

i have looked at the sonoff/itead and lanbon range of products but i cant find what im looking for, ive had a quick look on aliexpress but all seem to be faceplates.

i dont need zwave or alexa, im more a wifi / google assistant user, i already have the sonoff (ewelink) app on my phone if that helps.

any reccommendations?

I've been hunting for this too. All the dimmers seem to want to include the faceplate which is super annoying.

I got one of the ones with the glass faceplate. It was one of the Tuya modules, so ESP8266, but the button signals all get done via a serial interface (from what I could gather) so couldnt figure out how to connect a physical on/off switch to it.

Stock firmware, the dimming was OK. But the on/off and dimming buttons on the faceplate were weird to work out. So flashed tasmota, and then had the same issues with on/off buttons.

I've got some of these units on the way too. Excited to see what they are, but I assume Tuya as all the dimmer stuff seems to be.

I have no idea if they are leading or trailing edge dim, I asked ages ago when I first saw them and got some incompriendable gibberish answer that was about the wiring of it.
