So our dishwasher broke this morning. Check water light on, pump always on, no water in dishwasher sump, power button does not switch off. Can only be switched off at the wall.

My research suggests water in the chassis. It’s 10 years old. Should I get someone to look or just replace.

Try tilting dishwasher. This fixes the problem when our light comes on
