Personally I am not a fan of titled showers. Have you though about getting the grout or both sealed? Or getting epoxy grout installed?

Moved to the correct sub-forum.

Tiled showers are good when they're done right. Most of the time they are not done right and mould could be the least of their problems.

It's a bleach, Sodium Hypochlorite is supposed to work well

You could also test an area by using a paintbrush, paint on a paste of baking soda and water, leave it for a while, say 15 minutes. Spray on straight white vinegar, this will react with the baking soda and it will fizz, then hose it off

Won't help now, but for future.

Any tiling you get done consider a dark coloured grout. Looks great with light tiles and doesn't show the signs of mould and contamination as much.

I wish I did this. Have light grout and have to clean it every 6 months or so, else it goes pink. I usually just use a good stiff brush and some jif, and do it while I'm in the shower.

Can you replace grout?

I did this before we sold our last place. looked like a whole new bathroom.

bit of a pain to get right, but once you get going it's pretty easy
