Hi,

After some kitchen tap recommendations.
After one that is main faucet and filter within that with a seperate tap for it.

Could be dreaming but if a all in on faucet, water filter and instant hot water would be awesome.

Cheers,

The house we bought recently had one of these https://www.aquatica.co.nz/technical_sheets/Xera/X1%20SMWF.pdf which is a 3 way mixer with normal water on one side and filter on the other

Under the sink we have a KDF-GAC filter

However I've just replaced it with one of these https://www.swedia.com.au/kitchen-mixer-tapware/otto-stainless-steel-kitchen-sink-mixer-with-filtered-water-outlet-brushed.html, same premise as the Aquatica Xera, as the Aquatica one was showing its age, plus I preferred the brushed look of Swedia Otto

We're also looking to replace the kitchen tap with a tap/filter combo. Aqua Filter have them, but only used their standard under-bench filters. We've moved out of area for our previous franchise owner, so will look at other options as well before deciding on which one to settle on.

That Swedia Otto certainly looks like a contender.

If you want quality standard taps Methven are very good. Not sure if they do one with a filter.

Why not a whole house filter?

https://www.nzfilterwarehouse.com/Whole-House-Filters.html

Possibly cheaper to install that after considering a single replacement to the kitchen tap (excluding labour etc), is probs about the same as the cost of an average kit excluding labour.

Billi do hot and cold flitered water  but the flow rates aren't really suitable as a main kitchen tap. You still need a normal tap for normal kitchen stuff.

We have insinkerstor multitap. It's good but expensive at full price. We paid about $1400. I suggest set a pricespy alert and try to buy it for <$1600. Don't get the black tap as the finish will chip off.

We have the gold/black version and very happy with it. It also has a seperate valve for water filter action system. For $150 delivered, this was a good buy.

We've got one of these in our kitchen:  https://www.mitre10.co.nz/shop/greens-tapware-regency-pull-down-sink-mixer-chrome/p/217775 with a water filter on the cold feed - so our cold water in the kitchen is always filtered.

Something I use a lot is the change from tap to shower spray.

We've found Greens to be fantastic with after sale service (they were horrified when one of the buttons on the head fell out - they shipped a replacement head no questions asked and were apologetic about it)

With a fridge providing water and ice.
