Not sure if this should be in this thread as I'm asking for advice and not sharing any DIY project. Please move if need be.

Basically I'm looking for fly/insect mesh screens and the best way to cover up doors and windows.

What is commonly used/recommended? As per my intro post few months back, I'm new here and still learning the 'kiwi ways'.

I've done a little homework and found this:

Haven't used similar before so my concerns are around sticking the magnetic strips to frames in a rental home, and ease of removal after.

Also another concern, are there cheaper alternatives? Keep in mind the strip needs to go around the perimeter of the door/frame. 

Assuming a door is 2m high, and 1m width, I would need 6m just for one door.

I have 2 door to cover, and couple of windows that I would like to keep open when it gets balmy. 

All advice appreciated, and your solutions for keeping bugs out.
