Because life is awesome my in wall oven has had the bottom element die. I started to look at repair, but the oven itself is in very poor condition, so it's probably not economic from a lifespan perspective.
My wife and I have had a look, and we're super keen on a double unit, but OMG Money! The one she wants is about $4.5k from harvey norman.
So we are thinking about a compromise for the moment, buy cheap now and put it on the list for a couple of years. So that means we want to go real cheap :)
Options for cheap units are:
1. buy a cheap unit from trade tested: https://www.tradedepot.co.nz/vogue-double-wall-oven-13-function-600mm-stainless-steel
2. buy a better second hand unit of trademe - one of these two at the moment:

Pros to new - it's new
Cons, its probably a bit crap
Pros to second hand
Level up in quality, more features
Cons might be a bit janky, and cost more in the long term/cause regret
