So, we had an issue with our original Electrolux fridge because it had a series of problems and Electrolux couldn't get parts and agreed to replace it with a new one for a nominal fee. We were happy with the solution given the age of the fridge at the time.
New Fridge was installed and within a month our vegetables in the vegetables were getting frozen solid.
We raised it and after a long wait for parts, they replaced the logic board. Everything was fine for a while, then it started doing it again. The old service agent no longer covers our area so the new service agent came out, and stuck a bit of what looks like Duct Tape over the air vent near the vegetable bin.
I am not that happy with that solution for a couple of reasons.
1) I expect this means that the vege bin no longer gets as cold as it should
2) Adhesive tends to fray and come off near the edges over time, and it's likely in my opinion, that bacteria would attach itself to that.
The service agent says they have repaired it to the specifications within the service bulletin. I think I should raise this direct with Electrolux, but I wanted to see what others had to say about this? I wasn't expecting cellotape in my expensive fridge!
