I heard that if you get a dyson for anything medium or long shag pile carpet it won't work as it has too much suction and unadjustable seal for soft carpet.

So i imagine there will be one or two on GZ that has medium - long shag pile or soft carpet - what's your experience with which vacuum works best?

We have longer than average carpet, but I wouldn't call it shag. Henry / Hetty work very well, and are made to last. If it's really long carpet maybe you want a backpack mounted vacuum like cleaners use?
