Hi guys.

We're going to be moving to a new place in Auckland soon, and I was wondering if you guys know a good moving company? That could pack fragile items as well?

It's for moving from West Auckland to the North Shore!

Thanks!

Lucas

I used Number 1 movers, moved my whole place for about $400, but I had to (mostly) pack everything myself.

World Moving is extremely careful but is in our experience somewhat expensive. Depends on what you value. We don’t move often enough to be bothered by the expense.

We just moved from Manukau to Hobsonville last week (for 4BR/3Baths house content), and used Auckland Wide Removals and hired their 3 men crews. Total time from start to finish was 4 hours (including the one way trip). They were very efficient. Highly recommended.

I've used them in the past and didn't like their service. They weren't careful with stuff and they didn't even protect my Fridge and my washing machine when they loaded them in their truck, causing damage.

But thanks for your feedback.

That's a bummer on your experience with them, sorry to hear. That was our first time using them but we didn't have any issues with them whatsoever.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.
