Hello!

Can someone advice what would be the best (most active) online place to discuss renovation challenges in NZ.
Anything to do with house builds, extensions, renovations, materials, trades, council regulations, quotes, etc.

Thanks!

I would recommend either asking here or on the DIY NZ sub at reddit.com/r/diynz. The latter is generally biased more towards DIY but there is often good discussion around various things relating to renovations and home ownership in general.

Good luck!

Although geared mostly towards property investors, the NZ Property Talk forum has a wealth of information and commentary on a variety of topics. It's worth checking out and posting your questions.

Another source I have found useful is the "Property Investors Chat Group NZ" on Facebook. Again there some very smart and knowledgeable people on there.
