Inspired by another forum members beautifully made workbench, I though I'd post my own.  It's more an ugly duckling - made from reused timber and MDF panels.  Cost me nothing as I had all the screws etc

I plan to put up with it for couple of years, before I build something nicer from scratch.

Pockets under the bench are for storing odd bits of left over materials.  The steel drawers units are freestanding on castors.

Yep, it’s amazing what you can knock together when the hardware stores aren’t open.

Built a few bits under the last level4/3 and again under the current L3. Nothing worthy of a picture but useful enough.

I would love a peg board (shadow board) but all my wall space is taken up with storage shelves and cupboards, so all my tools are either in purpose build boxes or a 35yr tool box. I like the white board as well so you can write down who you lent tools too 😀

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Mine was all shelves too.  That's mostly what the new bench is made from.

White board is great for sketching plans on, or just noting measurements or hardware shopping lists.

Are those weights that slide from one side to the other? I'd assume it is some sort of ancient Grecian level.

Good guess but no.  They do slide but aren't weights.

Always a risk, that's why I built a shed.  Amazing how much stuff fits in 3m x 3m shed.

They look a bit like trammel heads but then I don't know what the base is for...

It's a drilling guide.  For a precisely spaced row of holes at 90 deg to the edge of something - e.g. holes for shelf supports.  Very handy tool.

Can you post up an action shot of it in use?

Not actually in use, but hopefully makes sense.  Allows holes to be drilled or marks to be punched with a high level of accuracy.
