Thought we might be able to use a thread where folks can ask for recommendations for a tradesperson in their area.

Make sure you specify the type of work you need done, and especially your location!

To kick it off, can anyone recommend a domestic sparkie in Northeast Hamilton to install an external power point on my house?

Yeah, I've looked there, there's only two Hamilton sparkies listed, and I find it tricky to trust a site that thinks Te Awamutu (nearby town, 45 mins drive) is closer to Hamilton than Dinsdale (suburb of Hamilton, 15 minutes drive).

Good reviews, and everything, but I figure this site has people who know people, maybe even people who are people...

That site charges tradies to respond, and to list, wouldn't trust it 100%

Shame to hear that, I've had some good runs with trade's i have engaged to complete work on there.

Interesting about its location issues though.......that's a bit of a F-up
