Hello - does anyone know if it's legal to vent both the kitchen and bathroom out same vent on side of house?

I was planning on just using a Y adaptor with a backdraft preventer in each tube to achieve this.

We vented out kids bathroom and laundry out same vent using a Y adaptor with a double switch on the wall so both rooms get vented out at same time when either room's switch is flicked ON and council did not have an issue. We did use a 200mm duct for both rooms runs so plenty of airflow coverage for both rooms to be vented out.

Ring your council and find out as different councils may have different rules around this.

Do whatever you want to do man.
