I've just installed a DSC  Neo alarm (HS2016).  All up and running with no problems.

I'm about to install an internet communicator (TL280E).  It seems reasonably straightforward; however I'm unsure whether the RJ45 socket on the board is wired to T568 A or B.  Presumably it's A as the communicator was bought from an NZ supplier?

If it's T568B will this be a problem and if so, how to fix.  Needless to say that all cabling in the house is T568A.

Many thanks in advance.

The two wiring schemes (T568A and T568B) only affect the colour of the wires, the same pins are connected from each end of the cable. As such, the wiring scheme of your house has no impact on the wiring scheme used by anything plugged into it. If it did, there would be different network cards to purchase for each wiring scheme, and there aren't.

So you're good to go!
