Morning all,

Trying to work out the best option for a new 90 cm dual fuel (LPG burners, electric oven) freestanding range. We inherited a SMEG when we bought the house 6 years ago and there are a number of issues with it that irritate (very heavy door, no cool door when on, the range top burner controls get very hot when the oven is on, very difficult to strip down the door for cleaning, irritating fan noise (bearing rub, squeal), unable to change the oven bulbs as covers siezed etc). Finding a service agent in the Wairarapa is impossible.

This Bosch appears to fit the bill https://www.bosch-home.co.nz/productlist/cooking-baking/freestanding/freestanding-dual-fuel-cookers/HSB738357A

Would appreciate any insight from current owners or indeed any other recommendations in the $3-4k range.

Cheers and thanks

We have that Bosch. No issues with it.

We bought it about 3 years ago (maybe more?) after the third or fourth time our Parmco one had killed it's function selector switch.

Would buy again. (we got ours for about $2500 I think - shop floor model).
