At the side of our house there is a concrete slab, on which I'm parking our camper van. To get there, I have to go through a patch of gravel with dirt underneath. Slab is about 10cm thick, so it's a bit tricky to drive the van onto the slab. I was thinking to get a kerb ramp like this. Would that be a good option?

Also I don't know how to fasten it to the ground, as I'm assuming it has to be fastened securely?

Assuming it matches the height difference between the concrete slab and the gravel I think it would work.

I'd fix it in place by hammering a long peg down through the fixing holes. The peg would need a flange on the end to push down on the ramp. Do the holes have a a step in them which would locate against the flange on the peg other wise the top of the peg will sit above the ramp. That probably doesn't matter if the flange on the peg isn't too thick.

These things might work:

I haven't used them with gravel, but I've used them in a couple of areas where I grassed over the pavers and use them for occasional parking.  You could (well I did once) hit the gas pedal a bit hard and damage the grass, but drive wheels didn't dig in and the grass grew back just fine.  Parking in those areas before was a no-no.  You'd get stuck.  I guess with gravel you'd first need to get the base compacted to the right level.
