Hi,

I'm planning on building a drive way picket gate to go with the fence we have built, gate would be 1.8m each + 130mm for hinges / spacing. Just wondering if anyone had built gates with size and any tips, also anyone got a good supplier for hardware, double strap hinges etc. 

also anyone had experience in putting in automatic gate openers.? thinking of solar power to cut down cost of running power to the gates. 

planning on something like this just slightly longer + diagonal bracing.
