Not their lights, but I used their hose gun things. I found them a good basic brand, low to moderate quality. The hose gun wore out pretty quickly though, but cheap so I just bought a new one.

Yep I installed Holman garden lights about 18 months ago. Only wish I'd bought the Wifi controller instead of Bluetooth for ease of use (i.e. you need to be in range to the controller with BT). Great product, easy to setup and good quality.

What sort of area did you light up? how bright/effective did you find the lights?

Do you have any pictures?

Good advise, I wasn't sure which one to go with.

I looked at them but didnt. Too expensive for what it could do IMO. All lights are the same colour, rather than being addressable like you would expect for the price.

I got some generic fittings that take MR16 lamps with a G5.3 base on them in 12 volts, and put in some wifi lamps I got off aliexpress. US $22 each from memory. Swapped out my existing transformer for the outside lights with a 12v DC power supply (since the lights had 100Hz flicker on AC) and then just configured them into a group in alexa. I also have got some plain LED ones that I have put downstream of some magichome LED dimmers (made for LED strips but anything works off them) - again, 12V DC but polarity matters for them so I had to figure that out and mark the cables, Those also group up with alexa fine. Also group them with some other tuya based lights outside.

I had a play with some 48V to 12v converters and a 48V power supply to allow for voltage drop but I had the converters fail twice, putting out too much voltage so gave up on that idea.

I do have some other 12v DMX controlled lights I ordered from ray wu off aliexpress that I am intending to install at some stage, but that will mean I have to get something to control them and hopefully group in alexa with other lamps.

There's two options for colour. One is Warm White while the other is RGB (basically any colour you want). The RGB comes in Bluetooth or WiFi.

What you've suggested is far too complex for me. I'd fry myself in the first minute.

Wow! You've done an amazing job! What size lights do you have under the trees which run along the side of the pool? is the feature tree on the left got a larger light?

Looking at the spot lights, there's several size options,  100,75 and 43mm.

Ultimately the 100mm light has a draw 10W , I believe the controller unit has a max of 60W capacity. So you could get away with 6 of these.  How strong/effective are these lights? vs say the 75mm. This has a 6W draw so you could get 10. But you also want a glowing garden. You just want highlights/accents etc.
