Subwoofer case says to use T2AL 250v.
I can find some on UK/US-Amazon but nothing using those details locally and don't know enough about the markings or those types of fuses to compare with jaycar etc.

Hoping someone can point me to something in Wellington region if possible.

Thanks

Looks like you're after a 2A slow blow fuse, Jaycar should sell them.

I googled because I was curious.  Did you happen to spot this thread that descibes the fuse action in more detail?

Perhaps find a standard 2A fuse from Jaycar the same physical size, buy a couple, and don't be surprised if they blow quickly.  They should see you though until the proper fuses arrive from offshore.  It sounds like any 2A slow blow should do the trick but judge for yourself.

Also....  did you check the manual?  It may have a helpful recommendation.

Thanks all.

Typical - after spending ages looking and then posting on GZ I came across the table below from here.  I found Listening Post's (Lower Hutt) website says they have a selection of slow blow fuses so I might get lucky there.  Failing that I'll get what I can from jaycar and order offshore.

Table 1. Fuse Element Speed Markings

Marking - Fuse Element Speed
FF - Very Fast Acting (Flink Flink)
F - Fast Acting (Flink)
M - Medium Acting (Mitteltrage)
T - Slow Acting (Trage)
TT - Very Slow Acting (Trage Trage)

Table 2. Fuse Breaking Capacity Markings

Marking - Fuse Breaking Capacity
H - High Breaking Capacity
L - Low Breaking Capacity

Yeah but this is audio gear, it has to be hand-carved from monocrystalline silicon and sheathed in cryogenically-dipped silver otherwise it'll cause fringling of the bass monotones and an embolism in the upper mid-range clippers.
