We're doing the annual garden furniture sanding down/re-staining, but I'd be interested if anyone has suggestions about which product to use.

The wood is very dry and need to get some moisture into it, and at the same time I'd like to use a high UV repellant stain/oil which will last more than a year in direct sunlight.

Have thought about using decking stains?

Suggestions appreciated.

Decking and furniture stain aren't necessarily substitutable.

For furniture, I've been super impressed with Sikkens Cetol HLSe (available at Bunnings). They also have a new waterbased product (designed specifically for decks according to the label) but I haven't used that myself.

Have used a Yachticon product  from Burnsco on my patio furniture.  A reddish varnish with UV protection. But furniture needs treatment every season.
They dont show this on their website, but do have a look there for options.

BTW , if you managed to get any black mould off your furniture, please let me know.
A treatment with household bleach has not done much at all.
