As expected, we don't have Aqualine GIB now in the shops. What we have is ProRoc from Bunnings and Premier from Mitre10. Any ideas about these two alternatives?

Doesn't look like either of those are listed as an accepted water resistant component:

A builder buddy has previously assured me that Fyreline and Aqualine are the same thing, and it does seem that Aqualine can be used instead of Fyreline, though seems less clear the other way around. If you can't get Fyreline either, that doesn't help though.
Worth noting that GIB Aqualine is considered good practice, but isn't actually required under the building code. It's GIB's most successful marketing campaign ever - they basically created the product segment and ultimately drove national best practice to be using their proprietary product.
Personally I have always used GIB Aqualine in bathrooms/laundries, but it isn't a magic material. If you get a one-off leak, it won't degrade the lining or wick water up the wall. If you have an ongoing leak, it will still degrade to the point that it needs replacement.
Despite not being required under the building code, if you are doing consented work, and if your plans specify Aqualine, then the building inspector may raise it as an issue if you don't have Aqualine. Or if you have some specified system going over the top which requires Aqualine e.g. vinyl on the walls. If you aren't doing anything special on top of the walls, then you could potentially raise a minor variation to your plans to remove the Aqualine specification. That would free you to use an alternative (e.g. ProRoc Moisture Resistant) even though it doesn't formally meet the requirements of a like-for-like substitution for Aqualine.

This sums it up nicely :-) Aqualine does have fibre reinforcement in it to make it more suitable for hanging tiles off in a bathroom, for instance. However, most builders and tilers would tell you to use JH Villaboard or similar to affix tiles to in that situation. Our new guest bathroom has tiled walls up to 3.5m high and I'm much happier having them hanging off Villaboard than Aqualine!! Having said that, not sure what the availability of JH products is like now - we have pretty much finished the house now, but sourcing them was a challenge at times when building!
mdf: Actually, where are you in the country and how much do you need? I'm renovating at the moment and *may* have a few (currently looking like 4) sheets of aqualine extra. I'm in Wellington.
Thanks MDF. What a shame. I'm in Auckland. I'll need 5 sheets for the bathroom renovation.
I can't find any reviews or reference about the Premier plasterboard being sold from M10. I prefer buying from M10 due to airpoints but this time, I probably have to go to Bunnings for ProRoc.
