Anyone know where I can find a replacement for this foot lamp clicker.
Can only find the ones half the width.
I did find a replacement footlamp switch in trademe but they are dropped ship and missing parts.

Edit: The issue is the switch can click down and the light turns on but it does not stay clicked down.

The picture is with the casing off for the those of you thay think the light is being used like this

Cheers

Holy crap, that's not legal, exposed primary insulation with no mechanical protection.

Lot's of alternatives, but most are more for industrial applications.

Hmmm... I was curious and had a look.  These are not easy to find.  Searching for cord foot switch I had a little luck including this site:

Yeah not easy, tried a reverse image lookup and no results.
This is part of a lamp I bought from lighting direct.

Will try shady lady as they are nearby.

how about a picture of the switch enclosure as well, as to me it looks like some other part preforms the mechanical latch that holds it on when pushed.

We’ve got a foot switch lamp.

use it in the kids bedroom however I’ve always been skeptic about the quality of that switch…. I don’t let the kids see it and instead installed a phillips hue bulb and got the wireless wall switch.

works a treat and the kids respect it better… the foot switch is prone to get slammed and pulled and kicked.

plus you have to battle with keeping it “upright”.

I'm almost certain I've got a lamp with the same switch. The enclosure is round? Can't help with a replacement, but I did have to fix ours once - there are two plungers that press down to latch and turn on the light. Somehow they got out of sync; one was "on" and the other "off" so neither worked properly and toggling just flipped them over. It took a while but I managed to fanangle both plungers back into sync and its been fine since.
