Not sure where to post this, it's not really worth a thread of its own so I've tried to give this one a more universal title.  It's meant for posting unexpected sources for useful things.

In this case IPA and acetone.  Chemist Warehouse of all places sells 100ml quantities of this for something like $7, for when you don't need a litre of the stuff at once, and/or the Green Church is closed.

Wow, I did not realise Chemist Warehouse sells beer. However at the equivalent of ~$35 per pint, it's going to get pretty expensive if you want to have a decent sesh with your mates.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Bunnings/Mitre 10. I got a 1litre IPA bottle from one of those (cant remember which) years ago thats still going. I don't think it was expensive from memory

Yep bunnings had this for a competitive price and much more than the little amounts at a chemist.

$10 for 250ml up to $20 for a litre.

Fair call.

I'd retitle the thread to FYI: Unexpected Sources for Useful Things

Bunnings is open longer than most chemists I know and are cheaper for this product, so just a bit confused as to how it's a thing, but all good.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Done.

As for the source, I know you can get any quantity you like from places like TM, eventually, but in this case I needed a small amount right now (I don't think I'd go through a litre of acetone in a lifetime, or at least not before a lot of it had slowly evaporated) and there's a Chemist Warehouse five minutes from here.

Bunnings also sell 5L bottles and using Farmlands to pay to get trade pricing can save a bit. Far better value than 1L bottles although think you have to order it in from them.
