This is kind of spurred on by the LG OLED giveaway thread. Considering modern panels are quite fragile and accidents from young ones can happen, does anyone know what to get to avoid e-waste?

Quick google brings up a christchurch company who do custom to order acrylic panels. There doesn’t seem to be anything else ready made even though TV’s have fairly standard sizing to them.

Just about any plastic sheet supplier will custom cut acrylic. Bevelled edges, etc.

Not so much as designed for a tv panel, ,but could work as such.

Though parallax errors would start to bother me..

Not quite the same but I needed something cheap and dirty to protect the big TV I use as a monitor from my cats' pissing competition. I didn't want to spend a fortune on it and ultimately I found the perfect solution at K-Mart in the form of a poster frame. This gave me an excellent large screen protector for only a few dollars.
