Lots of goodies in the Paramount Archive under $5 ($4.99) sale this week.

It could actually be an expensive sale πŸ˜‚

EDIT: Be aware that not all of the titles advertised are $4.99. Check the price before clicking on the BUY button.

I did the same on the 5th of November. I watch it too often not to have it in 4K.

Also bought Sin City yesterday for $4.99 which I hope will be upgraded soon.

I haven't read any news on Sin City being upgraded, but we can keep our fingers crossed.

I bought Collateral and Total Recall a couple of weeks ago. They are both going to be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray, so expecting/hoping for an upgrade on iTunes too.

Not long until (December 1st) The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit series get 4K UHD Blu-ray releases as well.

Picked up a couple of titles at $4.99. Ghost in Dolby Vision and Beverly Hills Cop. Both look great and good value for the price. Still waiting for Parasite to drop in price. Been $19.95 for ages. Lord of the rings around the corner...another must purchase on Disc for me. Should look and sound sublime with Dolby Vision/Atmos.

The first film in the Resident Evil franchise has now been upgraded to Dolby Atmos. All six films are now Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos.

I'm hoping that iTunes will have a nice bundle price sometime in the future; Then I'll pounce πŸ˜›

I'm in the same boat regarding Joker. Been waiting ages for it to drop below $10. It did drop to $14.99 for a while, but its now been at $19.99 for some time. Patience, patience πŸ™‚

Just noticed there is a Jurassic Park 5 movie bundle for $29.99, and they're all in 4K. Is that new?

The bundle has been available for a while, but I think that price has only just been posted. Pity I already have the two Jurassic World movies in 4K, or I would have grabbed it.

The 4K upgrades just keep on coming in the NZ iTunes store. I'm trying to catch them all, but there are bound to be some that I missed.

Starting with more Disney upgrades (All seven of the titles I already owned are now Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos).

Christopher Robin (2018) Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos

Inside Out (Pixar) (2015) Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2004) Dolby Vision

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) Dolby Vision

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007) Dolby Vision

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) was already Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos, so here's hoping that the rest of the series will also get Atmos at a later date. On Stranger Tides Not upgraded as yet.

Now for the rest.

Tenet (2020) pre-order is now showing Dolby Vision. It won't get an Atmos track because Director Christopher Nolan prefers 5.1 audio.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos

Fatal Attraction (1987) Dolby Vision

Remember the Titans (2000) Dolby Vision

And.... two Eddie Murphy comedies:-

The Golden Child (1986) Dolby Vision

Trading Places (1983) Dolby Vision

That's All Folks!....... for now

I bought Total Recall (1987) and Collateral (2004) when they were $4.99, in the hope that they would both be upgraded when the 4K UHD Blu-ray discs were released.

Well, Total Recall has been upgraded to Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos already, and its not released on disc until December 9th. This afternoon's viewing for me.

Collateral not upgraded yet, but its not released on disc until December 16th. So, plenty of time yet.

My Fair Lady (1964) Dolby Vision

The Muppets Christmas Carol (1992) Dolby Vision

2012 (2009) Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos

From Disney.....

Captain America 1, 2 & 3 are all now Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos. In fact, just about all of the Disney/Pixar/Star Wars movies have been upgraded
