jtbthatsme: The question i'm wondering about is the streaming effected when their website is down and It's possible it's down due to high traffic. I'm gonna sign up when I get home and try out the free trial period get some legal TV for a change and watch season 1 of the newer Dr Who which I've never watched.

If the content doesn't increase or if Xnet doesn't jump on the unmetered traffic then it may just last that initial trial or maybe a month into it to show support of the concept as I can't afford to stream pay per gig traffic.

Yeah, they'll charge you NZD$18.49 immediately... No free trial period.?

My account shows next billing at 19 April so looks like 21 days free.

Can't get my PS3 to log in though, 'user name or password wrong'.

I'm also having problems with the login from the PS3

PS3 is a known issue and they hope to have it fixed by the end of the day

Oh bugger... I didn't read as far as the bottom of page 7!
qfxlaunch for others who like me missed it.
Oh well, it won't break the bank I suppose.
That'll learn me for not reading the whole 9-10 pages before signing up. ;)

if you're going down that path, why not just pay for unblock-us or a vpn and stream tv shows legally? most shows are available online for free, and the few that arent are usually on vudu for a couple of bucks an episode.

I did try it once, but sdespite having rock solid internet at home (15-20Mbps) stremaing anything from the USA or UK is incredibly slow.

I'm banking on the content improving on quickflix once HBO deal with Sky finishes, but if it doesn't, then there is always good old pirate bay!

Seems to be advertised as up to 5 registered devices (including web browsers), and up to 3 active streams

Thanks now lets see how long it takes TC to decide if they will make it unmetered.

Just found the new icon on my Sony Bravia TV. Need to run through the registration.

Sony PS3 not working. Software is straight from Aus. Does not let me login. Software keypad is even setup with .com.au buttons. Nothing for NZ

Just signed up to Quickflix and it will not work. I have a Bravia and I got the activation code from the TV set and then went to Sony Entertainment to complete the process. No Go at all. WHen you register your TV you then clikc on the icon and choose which service you wnat. I selected Quicflix and it will not enable. In fact clicking Quicflex seems to enable music not movies.
Back to the TV and it says you cannot access Quickflex as you have not activated the TV.
Rang the 0800 number and spent an hour on phone but they could not solve. Have excalated it to a tech and I have to wait.
Would have thought they would have this all sorted before they went live.
has anyone managed to access content yet?

To everyone signing up, be warned that there is a further $8.50 one off charge, when you sign up.

This is not clearly stated on the site, I got stung by this and called them up.

On the up side, they have reversed my charge and forwarded on my suggestion for clearer advertising. So we'll see if this gets updated to reflect this.
