Looking at the Top Movies chart; I see that F1: The Movie has been at #1 for the last 15 days and is still there on the 16th day (today).

Might have to have a look at it when the price drops. Anyone here seen it?

I've not seen it, but heard from 2 people that have, that it's pretty good, with particular emphasis on how good some of the racing scenes are from a camera-work angle.

No mention of a new Apple TV 4K at the Apple event today. But with such strong rumours about there being one in the making, its likely to be announced in the October Apple event. If we don't hear anything then, it may just be ... a rumour.

Although there was no announcement concerning the rumoured 2025 Apple TV 4K at the September Apple event; The good news is that tvOS 26 will become widely available on Monday (US) so probably Tuesday in NZ.

This will be a free software update.

Here is the information for the already released Apple TV models and which upgrades will be available.

Apple TV HD (2015) Full update, but lacks Liquid Glass display and Music Sing.

Apple TV 4K (1st Gen.2017) Full update, but lacks Liquid Glass display and Music Sing.

Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen.2021) Supports full tvOS 26 including Liquid Glass display and Music Sing

Apple TV 4K (3rd Gen.2022) Supports full tvOS 26 including Liquid Glass display and Music Sing

Music Sing allows you to use an iPhone as a Karaoke microphone. You also need to subscribe to Apple Music.

Apple TV+ will now have vertical Liquid Glass posters for their programs and films. Sports are still landscape. (Liquid Glass on Apple TV 4K 2021 and 2022 models only).

Audio pass through will not be available at launch, but is expected to be added later this year or early next year.

definitely a peeve of mine with the CheapCharts app.

I've been waiting forever for 'Crouching Tiger etc.' to drop to NZ$4.99, which CC has 2 or 3 times times advised me of, but switching to the TV store to find it is still NZ$14.99
