Hi sultanoswing

Looks like you have a fixed IP in your zone not a dynamic dns, did you change it some time?

albi90: Hi sultanoswing

I just changed it a few minutes ago as the Dynamic DNS didn't appear to be working, and SWMBO said it was Downton Abbey time. My suspicions were aroused this morning when iPlayer gave me the "not in your region" error. I did reflash/update my tomato firmware last night, but I have no problem accessing my webpage, which relies on my Dynamic DNS working - so that shouldn't be the problem.

All is presently working with the manual IP update as it should, but I'll run some more tests / give it some more time later tonight or tomorrow (once Downton is finished!).

I have just moved ISP (to get 100/40 unlimited fibre) and now have a dynamic IP setup with a no-ip dynamic dns so ill be able to monitor this a bit more as well, it technically should update faster than any other service i have the check rotation set to every minute most smartdns services only check every 5-10 minutes, but that could be causing the issue :)

Thanks

OK - seems to be running on my PCs and Roku this morning, using the Dynamic DNS address.

Dns4me.net is down, whats up?

Also any services that are activated on it are running really slow.
