THE SOUND OF MUSIC (1965) is showing a Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos upgrade on Cheap Charts, and the cover poster on the app has changed to the 50th Anniversary artwork, but no upgrade for NZ as yet.

Rent has been further upgraded to Dolby Atmos audio

The Sound of Music still not upgraded 🙄

The second part of the extremely successful musical... Wicked, is showing at NZ cinema's from today. It will be interesting to see if Wicked: For Good will be as successful as part one.

Other recent cinema releases that we can look forward to appearing in the Apple Store late this year, or early next year are:-

In the third film of the Now You See Me franchise, entitled... Now You See Me Now You Don't, The Four Horsemen return along with a new generation of illusionists performing mind-melding twists, turns, surprises, and magic.

The 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger action film, The Running Man has been re-made, starring Glen Powell as Ben Richards (The Running Man), Josh Brolin, William H. Macy and Michael Cera.

Predator: Badlands has received favourable ratings on Rotten Tomatoes from both Critics (86%) and Audience (95%). Starring Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, it is set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator (Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey.

I'd just like to comment on my recent visit to PB Tech, Sockburn, Christchurch.

It had been a while since I was in the store and the layout has changed considerably since then. Now, instead of wandering around aimlessly looking for whatever; I went immediately to the customer desk where there was six staff attending to customers orders and inquiries. I knew what I wanted and the staff member had my items ready to go in about five minutes. I also needed them to install a hard drive that I took down with me. The lady said that it would be three to five days, which was okay with me, but two hours later I got a text to say that my computer was ready for pick up.

Even though the customer desk was very helpful, I also had a browse of the store.

From my experience, shopping for computers and peripherals at PB Tech was excellent.

They do stock Apple devices, sometimes at a lower price than other stores.
