The Roland Emmerich 2009 disaster movie 2012, has been upgraded to Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos.

Looks like Wonder Woman 84 is now available to buy at $34.99. Dolby Vision and 4K of course. What the heck...the missus and i were going to check it out at the cinemas this weekend even after all the comments about it....so i just purchased it. Works out at $17.50 each....not bad lol. Will give it a watch on my OLED/Atmos system tonight.

Watched Wonder Woman last night. Started off promising then went downhill very quickly. Opening IMAX scenes were excellent,Atmos pretty good,nice bottom end as well. It needed a decent Villain and some of the visuals looked liked they required some finishing work. Definitely not as good as the first Wonder Woman. At least we were able to pause it while we raided the freezer for some FruJu's.

The FruJus would have been the highlight for me. I Didn’t enjoy the movie either. Loved the first one.

Fully remastered live action, and upscaled CGI, and corrected aspect ratios.   

The under $10 Superhero movies sale ends this coming Friday.

The under $5 90's sale also ends this coming Friday.

Do you ever watch a movie without a preconceived idea or knowledge about what your watching? 

Dark Waters, without spoiling it deals with the PFOA/Teflon dramas of the 1980's-2000's now if your a little older like me you'll remember there was a bit of fuss in the media about it and Pans, cookware, clothing, carpets etc and products were banned. It deals with the lawyer who took civil and then class action cases against one of the biggest Chemical Companies in the world.

I had no idea how HUGE this was in America and the massive amount of "Forever Chemicals" that exist even today. For a problem I literally had no idea about, this is an absolutely must watch!

Not sure if this has just happened, but T2: Trainspotting 2 is now in Dolby Vision. I recommend seeing the first movie before watching this sequel.

Last day for Superhero Movies Under $10

Neill Blomkamp's Sci-Fi action movie; ELYSIUM has been given the DV/DA treatment on disc and iTunes.

LOVE STORY (1970), one of the great romance movies, has been upgraded to Dolby Vision.

ELIZABETHTOWN (2005), has also been given the same upgrade.

Godzilla (2014) and Speed (1994) are getting 4K HDR releases on disc in the coming months, so expect an iTunes upgrade for those, later in the year.
