Good afternoon everyone.

This is a friendly update from your friends at PremierLeaguePass / Coliseum Sports Media.

We are sorry for the on-going frustrations with the Samsung TV app but are confident it will be ready in plenty of time for season's kickoff on August 16. Please note that the app is currently functional on only 2013 models, however, Samsung assure us that the app is currently in its final stages of QA before being released to 2014 models. We are hoping this process will be complete very soon and will have news on 2012 models in due course.

Thank you for your patience as we gear up for another action packed season.

How the hell do you get a response from PLP support? I've tried emailing them but never get anything back!

think it was the contact us page... What email address should I use? I want to ask about the support of my TV; if it is then I may get a sub... If not I will rely on delayed Sky coverage.

support@coliseumsportsmedia.com, to which I had an email resonse, giving me a link to a support ticket. I then also phoned them.

Any early news for the 2012 models? Remote control / 10' user interface is really important for me (hate web browsers for watching stuff but small clips and browsing) so either TV apps or the ability to get RTSP streams (etc.) to feed in to media centres such as MediaPortal, XBMC, WMC would be fantastic.

Hi Sam - I'm presuming your account is genuine - perhaps a mod can validate and apply trusted/valid status if so (or whatever it is that they do).

Anyway my question and frustration. Are you now saying that your press release in connection with Samsung in March not only will not meet the deadline of the end of the previous season, but will not even be available on 2012 models by the start of the current seasons? I quote;

AUCKLAND, New Zealand – March 5, 2014 – Today Samsung Electronics New Zealand and Coliseum Sports Media Ltd (CSM) announced a new partnership that will now bring Barclays English Premier League soccer to Samsung Smart TVs, smartphones, and tablets.

The deal makes Samsung the exclusive Smart TV partner for Tiger PremierLeaguePass.com until 2016.

CSM has built a dedicated application for Samsung devices in association with the Samsung SportsFlow app. Tiger Premier League Pass Presented by Samsung SportsFlow will deliver HD access to all live games and highlights, with content available to all 2012 through to 2016 Samsung Smart TV customers.

The Samsung Smart TV app is scheduled for release before the end of the current EPL season.

I downloaded the Samsung TV app at the end of last season. Quality was surprisingly good albeit for one game only. Haven't checked recently to see if it still works.

Also at the start of the final games of last season still available on the Android app now, there is a flash new advert promising more/more/better quality/new season coming soon kind of thing ...
