Movieman:

Something for Arnie fans:

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Chuck Russell's Eraser (1996) with a new 4K Blu-ray release, which is scheduled to arrive on the US market on June 16th.

Hopefully this means a free 4K upgrade for people who already have this title in their library.

Special Features and Technical Specs:

  • NEW 4K RESTORATION FROM THE ORIGINAL CAMERA NEGATIVE
  • DOLBY VISION/HDR PRESENTATION OF THE FILM
  • DOLBY ATMOS AUDIO TRACK, plus additional options
  • Reinventing the Modern Action Hero - The Evolution of Arnold - Featurette
  • '90s Action Thriller Reimagined - Featurette
  • Optional English SDH, Spanish, and French subtitles for the main feature

Thank you for this news, I'm looking forward to it. Whilst not a huge blockbuster I always thought Eraser was under-rated. I expect the audio upgrade alone will be fantastic.
