The film took over US$943 million at the worldwide box-office and is another example of a family animated film making big dollars. The animated film features the voice talents of Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi and Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, the ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. Other characters are voiced by (among others), Jack Black, Keegan Michael Key, Brie Larson, Donald Glover and Glen Powell.

The next big thing at a production cost of US$170M - US$200, is coming to NZ cinemas on June 4th. It's Masters of the Universe from Amazon/MGM studios, but distributed here by Sony Pictures.
Summary: After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam Glenn back to Eternia where he discovers his home has been destroyed and is now under the rule of powerful warlord and sorcerer, Skeletor. In order to reclaim his family legacy and save the world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela and Man-At-Arms, and embrace who he is truly meant to be: He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.
I have to admit that the two lead actors in the film are unknown to me. Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam Glenn (He-Man) and Camilla Mendes as Teela. The supporting cast however is stellar; Jared Leto, Idris Elba, Alison Brie, Morena Baccarin and Kristen Wiig to name a few.
Films generally become available on digital platforms (VOD) 45–60 days after their theatrical release. While the traditional window was 90 days, many studios now use a 45-day window for digital purchase. Popular films may stay in theaters longer, while smaller or underperforming movies can appear on digital platforms in as little as 14-30 days
