A film that is over 20 years old now (is it really that long) and one that I enjoyed at the time, is available for $4.99 in The Apple Store. (I just purchased it).
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a film for the whole family. It was primarily shot in New Zealand, with additional Winter and forest scenes shot in the Czech Republic and Poland. Based on the book by C. S. Lewis, the film was a major success for Walt Disney Pictures, and grossed US$745 million at the worldwide box-office.

In September 1940, after surviving the Blitz during World War II, the Pevensie children – Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy – are evacuated from London, England to the country home of Professor Kirke. During a game of hide and seek, Lucy discovers a wardrobe and hides inside, only to find that she has entered a magical winter world.....
