I give up.  Trying to enable a Bravia has been a nightmare.  Come 2pm I'm cancelling.

Has anyone had any luck signing in on their PS3? I have signed up and everything works sweet on the PC but the PS3 tells me I have the incorrect username or password. I see other people in this thread have had this issue, has anyone been abke to resolve it?

Figured this out, the PS3 was not signed in to PSN, once I signed in to that Quickflix allowed me to sign.

I too had problems with Bravia drove me cra. Service desk could not he. Final after reading this forum I discovered the answer. When I first purchased Sony I registered it with Sony and that was the Problem.Sony could n correlate the old registration with the new account. I had to deactivate So and then cre a new accou I using another ema address then log into essentials and when it asked if I had an old essentials account I said yes and let it log into essentials and pulled the Sony into the new Entertainment account. It worked and then I could activate.

I'm having the same issue as you. I signed up - didn't seem to be offered the chance for a code.
Getting the same error when trying to stream too.

When I ring the 0800 number, I get an auto response saying to callback during business hours (despite the website saying that they're open at this time). Probably will end up cancelling the subscription. :(

Went to sign up but when I got to the page asking for the credit card details the little padlock disappeared from IE though the URL did still say https. There seems to be another padlock painted on the page but I assume that it is only a graphic to make it look like it is a secure page.

Is the quickflix really asking for credit card details over an unsecure link?

Just wondering when you signed up were you using a VPN of any sort or spoofing your IP address as there's a tiny chance that if you were you may have been seen as a international customer (going out on a limb here) because you should not be given a option as to what account your signing up for as in NZ there's only one option as for the code part if you sign in If I remember it's at the choose your login details stage as to where you enter the code (qfxlauch) to be able to have your 21 day trial.

Never got asked about plan type it was all just there. I do recall someone saying when they first joined up at 8ish on launch day they were still showing some of the Australian website stuff as they operate a little different over there than here.

No ideas as to why they're not answering the phone. Anyone know if they actually have a NZ presence as the hours they have for their support sorta indicate they're located in Australia.

Why don't you just email them to cancel, or fill in an online cancellation form. They are an online company so it should be all able to be done online.

Yes - you SHOULD be able to do this online - but you can't.  You have to call their call centre, which does not have anyone answering the phone.

Either is a massive launch fail, or a scam!

You could always do a charge back with your credit card company. I thought if you accepted credit card details you had to have a manned phone as part of the merchant agreement.
Every online subscription service I have ever used, as had a place on the website you could cancel it.

I see on the Android apps store there is a Quickflix app. Anyone with a NZ account tried it??

I downloaded it but without having an account it looks more like the DVD rental app

When you say you cannot get streaming I presume this is through a browser not through a Bravia TV set.
If a browser are you by any chnace using Firefox. If so there is a caveat against using Firefox as Microsoft Silverlight is required. Have you got Silverlight plugin? There is a work around in the FAQ for using Firefox. Try it with IE and as long as you have Silverlight it should work

Just an update on my experience with Quickflix
I have it working on PS3 and Bravia TV. It is actually very good and much better than I expected.
The HD works well and I have managed to find several movies that I have not seen.
Every time I view it there seems to be more movies added. I have started watching the Fawlty Towers series just for the hell of it.
If this keeps up I could see myself ditching Sky.

Next on my agenda is to get it working on my PS Vita. I imagin that will be one of the features that will be switched on down track but I love the idea of being able to watch from the PS vita.
All in all a pretty good service I love it

@ronw - was using IE to sign up. I suspect its account related.
