Some details from bein at last. No bein sports connect at launch by the looks of it.
Only bein sports 1, plus one pop-up in hd.

This looks great. Full HD, all the games (OK a few delayed) with a choice of sky for mysky delayed watching. No 24 hour only games issues with mysky. Plus the online option with connect and all the La Liga and other stuff. This is way better than plp as far as I can tell.

One question remains for me. How much coverage of the champions league will they show? It it's as much as espn then I can finally ditch sky sports.

Oh actually, fa cup might still only be on sky sports? Damn. Still , can dump it until Jan and then again when my lot get knocked out.

Like most others I was happy with PLP and I don't want to pay for Sky again, so I am very keen on the BEIN Connect option. Obviously there are no details on the BEIN web site at the moment and things will become clearer in the next couple of weeks, but can anyone confirm if I can watch/stream full games when I like, i.e. so that I don't have to watch at "stupid o/clock" in the morning? With PLP, I could watch any game that week before the next round of games started, will BEIN offer something similar?

I have been told that there are other options for delayed viewing (*cough* reddit), but I am now of an age where ease of use outweighs a small subscription.

This is the best info I can find on the question of on demand fr bein connect. It's not clear if it's specific to football though.

Why aren't some games available on catch up?
We offer some games exclusively on beIN SPORTS CONNECT. These are the games that we are unable to schedule on our linear TV channel but can offer to you live via the beIN SPORTS CONNECT service on web and mobile. However, most of these games are not available via catch up on these services.

That is disappointing. I will wait and see what Bein offer, but I might have to keep my "small subscription"

Disappointed that non sky subscribers will miss the first round of fixtures. I hope we still get to see them when the service is up and running. Just asked Bein Sports if we get to see the games when the service is up and running.

So it's $72 per month (50 basic, 12 beIN, 10 HD)?

It's it possible to buy without the sky basic subscription?

Not on Sky no, you will have to wait for BEin connect and pay the $18(?) a month for that.

it's nuts to be charged an extra $10 a month just to watch a subscribed channel in its normal HD stream. That's the reason I cancelled Soho - the pic quality was so low and to fix it Sky wanted to double the price of the channel with this weird HD charge..

They have 4 or 5 channels available, yet they don’t show all games live - some games including Swansea TWICE in opening 2 weeks, delayed until 5pm

According to Vodafone's Twitter these new channels won't be on Vodafone TV for the time being
